I'm a right-handed player and use an interlocking grip. Recently I noticed that the pinky on my right (top) hand between the hand the first joint is swollen. Anyone else experience this? It doesn't bother me (yet).

I don't like the overlap grip as much but I don't want to cause a problem long term.

At the beginning of the season last year I had the same problem, my pinky would get very swollen and sore for up to a day or two after a round. I came to realize that this was from relying on my arms far too much to generate power in the downswing. Throughout the season I worked hard on taking my arms out of the swing. Once I was able to (almost) completely take my arms out of the swing, the pinky problem disappeared.

Just my experience.
