After work I was golfing, and was at a 74 through 15 (I have never broken 90) when it became to dark to play.

As long as I played the right holes in order could I continue the round a couple days later, or would it be considered a new round

Just thinking out loud here.......as far as the rules of golf are concerned, rounds are suspended and completed the next day all the time.  I assume your "suspension" will be longer but as long as you don't play any rounds or holes during the "suspension", I can't think of anything you are doing "wrong".  Pins placements, and tees will probably change, but for a casual round, so what.

Obviously for posting scores, most folks would just give themselves par, plus handicap strokes for the holes not played, but I think the assumption is most people won't continue the round from where they left off.

Regards,

John
