I just happen to play with a buddy of mine who's a member,I've always been amazed at how much hype in western mass it gets. If you didn't know it was Established in 1922, Longmeadow Country Club is one of the most prestigious and oldest clubs in western Massachusetts. Located in the suburbs of Springfield, Mass. IT also as every one says is a Donald Ross course. I on the other hand am a member at Springfield c.c. ( has a few holse designed by Ross) and almost never get to play there . Just seeing what others thought. Did yoiu think it lived up to the hype? I shot 82 not to bad for me as a 14 year old but I didn't think the course was that great.

@#$* LCC that course is boring a few interesting holes but nothing i will remember also there i really no range the greens are true but thats the only thing that would make me want to play there again. One last thing the initiation to be a FULL member is $18,000 thats a little insane. Ehhh
