I always seem impressed when I hit any driver but my own, today especially.

I went down to my home club, Pajaro Valley, because the titleist guy was there to do a cobra demo day.

From talking to him, he snagged a Speed LD M/ST 10.5 Offset. I grabbed a hold of it and successfully launched 3 balls in a row within a 10 yard lateral spread over 200 yards. On a good day with my nicklaus i launch it 230 yards into the rough.

Anyhow, I can get it today for 280... What is all of your experience? Is this a good price?

My feeling was this thing felt like butter, but I am sure there are others out there, and maybe some cheaper units.

280 is definatly a good price. I tried one once, i didnt get much distance but found it easy to hit. I wouldnt be able to put up with the sound though, although it is a great driver.

Thanks for your input. I really liked it, do you think I will regret if I order it without trying other drivers?

It was more annoying than loud, or so i thought. Good thing I only have to hit it once per hole, if that.

my sasquatch is not loud at all. and like JM said its not loud its just anoying, i couldnt put up with that sound. You might regret without trying any of the other drivers, but its your choice. You might like it and not need to try any other ones. Im glad i did, I was so focused on getting the F-Speed, i tried it out, then decided to try out the Nike Sasquatch (both same price) I hit the sasquatch further and straighter. Good thing i tried some others, you can always take that one back if you dont like it cant you?

Long story: I currently use a F-speed, although I depserately need to reshaft it to a stiff (or just get the Speed Pro). I was frustrated because guys with slower swings were blowing the ball by me with these things, but I jumped on the bandwagon and got one. I gained 40 yards instantly over my old driver and got a nice, long draw which really shortens those dogleg left holes.

Sounds weird if you don't hit it right, but much more satisfying when you nail it on the screws at full power. Short story: Get one. Now.

I've had the 10.5 for a couple weeks now, first ball I hit off the tee (demo day) traveled about 310, compared to my usual 275 or so. The sound the head makes is a little annoying at the range lol, but whatever.
