Slicing some clubs, hooking others...

Any one else ever run into this?  My miss with my longer clubs (driver, 3 wood, 4i and once in a while 5i) is a slice or push to the right.  With my 6i through PW however, I'm hitting consistent pull hooks.  I always thought your miss was your miss, and the longer the club, the more exaggerated it becomes.

A buddy of mine suggested it might have something to do with the fact my irons are graphite, regular flex. I'm a fairly young and strong with an average swing speed of 95, so maybe the softer flex is throwing off the accuracy?

Actually, the make up of your misses makes sense. You are likely swinging from outside-to-inside with all of your clubs. But with the shorter clubs, you're better able to close the face, resulting in pull hooks. With the longer clubs, you're not able to close the face in time, resulting in slices.

I would work on these two problems in the following order:

1) First, try to groove an inside-to-out swing path

2) Second, work on the club face angle at impact (since this is relative to swing path, it's best to figure out the swing path first)
