I won my club chmpionship 2 years ago and all skill levels are on the same playing ground. We have a qualifying round, which seeds you from 2-32. Last year's champion gets the #1 seed. From there on out, we play match play.

That's easy for you low single-digit handicappers to say. Those of us who have never been a single-digit & never will think it's pretty good to win the 3rd flight (for example). Plus sometimes we luck up and win some cash prizes or gift certificates for use in the pro shop. I'm glad to find out some single digit handicappers seem to hold us double digit handicappers in comtempt.

Its great that you won the 3rd flight of your club championship. Congrats. All I'm saying is that you can't say your the "Club Champion" of the over 12 handicappers. That makes no sense
