I have a Nike Sumo2 set which are 5-7h 8/9/p/a/s and personally I hate the fact that 5-7 are hybrids at this point.  I actually regret buying this set because every time I play with a fellow lefty friend of mine I just end up using his regular irons rather than my hybrids and hit them much better.  Of course that me, you may find something different.

I bought them on the concept that hitting hybrids would be generally more forgiving than a standard iron but I really tend to find that isn't the case for me.  I don't mind my 3 & 4 hybrids which are also Nike but slingshot's especially since I have trouble hitting the 3 & 4 irons in a regular set anyway but the 5,6,7 for me just don't get hit as well.

I have a 6 hybrid(31%) that I hit as long as my 5 iron. I don't carry often, but I used to play a course with several long uphill shots, and the hybrid was easier to hit high. It also is a very good club out of fairway bunkers and the rough. I know most low handicap players wouldn't use such a high lofted hybrid, but I am a low ball hitter, and this club worked well for me.

The adams a7os comes with 7 and 6 "irons" that are really more like hybrids.  I do not like them at all, they feel chunky and I never felt like I could control them very much.  Granted, these clubs almost always threw the clubs in the general direction with a lower chance of a complete mishits, but I feel much more accurate with actual irons.  I replaced the 7 and 6 "irons" from this set with my old tommy armour 845s silverscot 6 and 7 iron and i love them so much more.  I also hit the TA 6/7 irons farther than my A7os irons despite the A7os having less loft.  The A7OS hybrid/iron clubs just launch the ball way too high for a 6/7 iron.
