I was on craigslist and saw a 2012 titleist lightweight cart bag for a steal of a price. It weighs about 6.6 lbs and was wondering if anyone has any experience with putting a dual strap on it and carrying it. I usually book thru golfnow and use a cart but I would like to walk more often. I suppose I can invest in a pull cart. let me know what you think edit: doh' had a complete brain fart and didn't even think about it not having a stand (hence the cart part ;) ). I'll blame the morning mamosas. Keep moving nothing to see here :)

If you had a wheeled pull trolley, it should work pretty good. The cart bags, however, have a much different balance than the stand bags. Cart bag on your shoulder would feel like carrying a suitcase on a sling.

You probably want a stand bag which allows you to strap down the legs when you put it onto a cart.
