Haha, I think that's awesome.  Things like that keep a 22 handicapper playing (maybe a gift of compassion from the golf gods).  My dad has 2 hole in ones and he hasn't beat me in 7 years.  I have zero, but hey, that's my fault.

A couple days ago we were teeing off number 8 and 17's green is to the left over the cart path (if you're teeing off 17 you're hitting towards 8's tee box).  All the sudden a guy in his 70's jogs towards with a big grin on his face wondering if we saw his ball fall in the cup, we didn't but we walked over with him and gave him a few high fives.  Only golf could put the excitement of a young kid in someone who's already lived a full life.
