Blade (Mickelson) Style Putters

I'm in the market for a mickelson style blade putter. I like the Cleveland "Designed By", as well as the Odyssey White Hot #9.

I was wondering if perhaps anybody knows of an alternative brand that worked well, but for a better price. I am young, and don't have 150 bucks to drop on a putter.

There are a number of clone and knockoff equipment companies on the web. Here's a 40 dollar blade putter offered by one of them:

I haven't played that one myself - I prefer mallet style - but I've used clones before when I was starting out and didn't have much money, and they were great for getting started in the game.

I just bought a TaylorMade Rossa Imola. I was looking for another putter (afterall we all need several putters

) but never thought I'd end up with a Taylormade. It's a blade style and felt great, much better than I thought it would. It retails for $120 but you can get it on ebay for much cheaper than that. wilson 880-whatever is a great blade putter. Funny, I actually saw that Cleveland putter at a local used shop recently.

i continue to check ebay for deals on brand name putters, and look for used ones in shops, but it is even more difficult seeing as i am a leftie and there isn't as many available for me.

try play it again or do an ebay search for a Napa or 8802 or 8813 and you will come up with the blade of your dreams. almost every brand has or has had a model like this and you canusually find a deal

I have the White Hot XG #9 and i like it, i don't love it. I like the weight and the feel. I don't care that Mickelson used it. I'm with you, i don't have as much money as I would like to but I got mine used (great condition) at a golf store for only $70, they retail for $120 something. Keep looking around buddy!

I play a beautiful blade Wilson 8813 putter that is only 33". I have had this for 11 years, and it has been very steady for me. Check it out places.
