Multiple problems with swing (high handicapper), what should I work on first

I feel like I have multiple things to work on with my swing, starting from shoulder turn to initiating downswing with hips to having no lag to arms not in front of clubhead at contact. I keep trying to just fix certain things but should I just start fresh and work on one thing at a time? If so what sequence of things should I start with first and move on to the next thing from there?

From what you told us, you have identified problems with parts of your swing.

What you want to do is build a total swing that will move the ball for you. I suggest you take a couple of lessons with a pro who will give you a video summary of your lesson.

That way, you can see your "old" swing vs. your "improved" swing and work to build the improved swing. You'll probably get a set of drills, do a few each practice session, to build your total swing.  Then, on course, just think alignment and let the swing happen. If you always worry about parts , you'll have trouble finding  your total swing.

A good pro can tell you more in 20 minutes than you can figure out on your own in a month. Then, you'll need to practice your improved swing and use it when you play to really get better.
