Tapping maple trees

Does anybody else tap trees to collect sap, boil down, and turn into maple syrup? This is the first year I have tried. I tapped a few in my back yard. My friends Dad has done it for a few years, and has a good setup for boiling. They told me to collect some and bring the kids over on a Saturday when they are boiling. Should be fun.

Lol.. No doubt. I'm going stir crazy. There is still 12" of snow on the ground in some places.
