why is it some balls are heavier than other balls? Heavier ball it is the longer it goes and I have more control. I notice the same weight difference on wedges too. Some wedges are almost 1.5x heavy than my other wedges. Does it make a difference? which do you prefer?

Unless you're comparing limited flight range balls or floating balls to other golf balls, they should all weigh about the same amount.

Clubs can vary in weight because players like clubs of different weights.
