Watching golf on TV you get some amazing stats about distance and angle and carry. You see caddies with their notebooks. That begs the question of do the players get access to that Shotlink info while playing?

No. It wouldn't help them anyway.

Plus ShotLink data doesn't have anything about launch angles, spin rates, carry distances, etc. All it does is measure the static location of a ball and plot lines from the previous static location to the current one (along with all the stats, like "right rough tendency" and stuff) that come along with it. Players can access their ShotLink stats - in tremendous detail - outside of the round though. Many will study their stats at the end of the year to confirm what they need to work on.
