I know this has probably been covered a thousand times but I'm new to the site and wanted some advice. I've been playing for about 8 years now and couple of years ago I got down too a 12 handicap. Since then I've developed a massive over the top swing and I pretty much pull slice everything. My handicap has crept up to 15.3 now and keeps on rising and I can't even play to that. I've been working hard trying to fix this problem using videos and had a few lessons but nothing seems to work. I tend to move my shoulders and head etc forward on the downswing and come down steep and massively across the ball...sometimes with my longer irons my divot is at 45 degrees to my target. The flight of all my shots with all clubs is a low pull slice where it starts left of the club face and then ends up in the trees on the right taking all the distance of any of my shots. What I'm wondering is does this sound familier to anyone and has anyone managed to successfully fix this and if so how? Thanks for any help

Work on your transition and sequencing. You are firing your shoulders first in the downswing when your shoulders and arms should fire last. I would guess you are getting too quick from the top. Post your swing in the members swing forum and you will get some great reviews and help from some very knowledgable guys!
