New, reasonably priced set of irons?

So I just typed a post and lost it all. So lets get to it. I'm getting a new set of irons very soon and I don't know which ones to get. I've looked at the Callaway X-Hots and the Taylormade 2.0s. I'm going to Dicks sporting goods tomorrow to get them but they also have a simulator to try out. Basically I need to find a good 4-9 PW or 3-9 PW for a beginner/intermediate player, ( I'm 16 I don't know my handicap) for around 400-700 dollars. I will try them out tomorrow and get my favorite. Thanks.

So what did you decide?  Did the simulator or the salesperson tell you that you needed to have non-standard shaft lengths or non-standard lies on them?
