Need opinion for shaft selection!!!

So I went and tested the mizuno mp-54 irons...They are super sweet btw but here is my dilemma, the shaft. I hit about about 10 balls with the standard shaft and it felt ok. Then I switched to the KBS Tour S and it felt amazing and the ball flew off. I know what your thinking ok just chose that one. I would but they wanted to fit me for a shaft and since I swing a little fast they thought it would be best for me to choice one of the three. DGX100, Project X 6.5 and KBS C-Taper X....NONE of these felt anywhere close to the KBS tour S. I mean they felt good and I would be happy with any of them. So i guess my question is do you go for feel with the KBS tour S, or what the computer suggested ??? I guess I could learn to hit either but I would hate to have any regrets with that kind of money on the line..

What was the difference in performance?

The Tour will get the ball up more, the C Taper is lower launching.

At the same time, if you don't like the feel ... you won't be happy.

I switched from the KBS Tour to the C-Taper about 5 months ago. I agree that the KBS Tour feels a lot more fluid; the C-Taper has a little more of a wooden feel. However, I love what the ball does with the C-Taper. Lower launch, less spin, and I feel like I can hit long and mid irons that just slice through the wind where with the KBS Tour they would float up and die. The C-Taper feels fine to me now but it did take some time to adjust.

You might try some Prosoft inserts in the C tapers for better feel.

There's really a small marginal difference between the C-Taper and the KBS tour. I found they just felt way better than the X-100. I did not like the dynamic gold at all. Project X was ok, but KBS were way above those two. Since C-Taper cost much more per club, i will go with KBS tour. Not enough difference in the numbers to justify the change.

      Went back to controlling my knees. That part was getting a bit sloppy when I worked on my backswing. Right hip didn't slide or gain internal rotation. I would just rotate back and around and the left knee would be in a bad spot. Really focusing now on keeping my left knee very stable and straighter in the backswing. I can't go back to the old pattern of overturning the hips. I was returning to my old pattern to time my downswing. Turn forever.  Left knee controls both knees and hips, acting as an anchor. Feel like it straightens a bit.   Hinge sooner and faster. Not in a way that sends the hands out and flips the club over. I still noticed when the hands get to A2.5, the hands would want to flip over and flatten the club out a ton.  Still trying to figure out how to roll the forearms a bit open and not just roll the club inside a ton.  Figure out the timing to get the hands down. Still getting a bit of right elbow collapsing in the downswing because the arms are too high when I turn. Everything is happening sooner now. If the hips are controlled, the backswing is shortened. Because it is shortened I don't know when to get the hands down and I just turn because the downswing is a go.  Very slow (50%) swings are decent.
