The US Ryder Cup team has not faired well of late, I explore why that is and how to fix it.

B/c despite all the hoopla and outwardly camaraderie, the players don't take it too seriously?   I just don't see anyone seriously preparing for it.   Now, now, if a Saddam Hussein's son is in charge of the US team, they may win for sure to avoid torture & possible death.   Come to think of it, Kim Jong Un may have the same effect.  What are the incentives for these multi-millionaires to win at all cost?   They seem to be in it for camaraderie (for their own enjoyment).    I think sending a team of hungry players - best college players and low ranked PGA players - with a promise of next years PGA tour seat may win it for the US ;-) .
