So I went out golfing tonight, just to do 9 holes....   Well i go to the chipping area and warm up for about 10mins doing some chipping..

Well on the first tee, I take some dry swings to fully loosen up and I've always had a problem with a sometimes massive fade....  Well know some of that is not being able to get my hips turned forward enough in the swing...   Now a week or so ago i was watching some video's on youtube and in one of them it said something about opening your front foot.. dont remember what the video was about either..  So I tried it in the dry swings and noticed I was able to get my hips faced forward a lot better...

Well i tee up just after 5pm, and had the course to myself lol.... nobody behind me and nobody infront.... So I decided to compare some NXT Tour S balls vs the U/4x balls..

Now i was only keeping score with the NXT ball..

First swing and I'm not swinging hard or anything but I hit the ball good and on the fairway!!  did the same with the U4x..   Ended up par'n the first two holes and playing bogey ball on every hole except the flipping par 3's which are my death nell lol......but for 9 holes I shot a 45... with a 6 and a 5 on the two par 3's.... lol

But I seriously couldnt believe at how such a small change in my foot position completely helped my game out.. no joke I always fought a nice Fade lol...  Even had my driver head is set to CLOSE.. And before I tee'd off i set it back to Neutral..  which is another story..

I know it could be a one day thing, but i seriously killed all of my iron shots, which never happens..

And as for my driver, i think i was reading somewhere on here or another golf forum about how all the adjustable heads on the drivers could actually be hurting you more than it helps...   SO i decided to try it back at neutral, since it had been at close since i bought the driver...     while i did still hit a couple fades, I did hit more straight shots on the fairway than i did fades...and the fades that i did hit, was not that bad..   With the driver head @ close, my fades was something next to awful!!!  like playing on the other fairway bad...

Now as for the ball comparison, while i did initially like the U4x,.. the NXT Tour S is probably a step up from the u4x....  while the distance was about the same, NXT was a bit ahead... everything else was very close... but for some reason i give the nod to the NXT Tour S..   just everything felt better...

On the flip side, i did find a Taylormade Penta, and B330RXS, so i decided to play all of them doing a lil side by side comparison.....

the Penta was like AWESOME!!!!  I mean it was straight and long, and my green shots stuck and i swear i was getting back spin with my 8 iron..   I can see why guys like the Penta ball lol...

The B330RXS, was right with the Penta too.. very easy to hit and very straight..  and easily opened my eyes to trying these out..

But right now i am totally sold on the Titleist NXT Tour S... and will probably try the Tour ball too..

It is what it is
