Hello Everyone,

When I lived in Boston and was Bartender at a Country Club they had what they called the "Scotch." It was were couple played about 9 holes or more on Friday night as a running competition, and then there was usually dinner and drinks after words. I'm not really caring about a competition as much as I was just wondering if there was something like that out her for my Fiance and I to be able to play on Friday nights after work.

Welcome to the site. Probably differs from place to place but at my club we have what we call "Twilight" events in various categories (husband/wife, family, women only, and mixed team/wife swap (two couples play with the one husband paired with the other's wife)). Am sure if you ask around you'll find clubs or courses that do similar things on a somewhat regular basis.

some courses call it a nine and dine. my course doesnt do  it but there is a group that books those tee times alot. 2 other public courses in my area have a ad in the local paper advertising theres
