When will we be able to buy video of the majors and other big tourneys on services like iTunes?

On iTunes, if you are a football, basketball or baseball fan, you can buy playoff games and in addition, for football, seasons by team. Yes, there's a time delay and other glitches, but in theory, this season and other past seasons are available. Plus no commercials.

PGA Tour (I assume you own the rights along with the USGA and R&A; and Disney and Comcast and Viacom) you and your buddies should get with the times and figure out how to put the majors up for purchase on iTunes. People have been posting full rounds on YouTube for awhile now, Aren't you tired of pulling them off? I'd think you'd get the picture by now. Revenue stream. People are comfortable buying video off the internet. Doesn't this make sense?

Yes, good idea. In a similar vein, I have been begging UEFA for about 3 years to do the same thing with the Champions League games. (Maybe soccer isn't your thing, but I feel the pain).

I agree, I wish there was a better system. I know every year MLB releases a set of DVDs for the World Series champ, but they only include a few games. I'll link to the 2007 Red Sox one, just because I'm going to buy it at some point and have it bookmarked on Safari: http://www.amazon.com/Boston-Red-2007-World-Collectors/dp/B000WOSAZQ/ref=sr_1_3?s=movies-tv&ie;=UTF8&qid;=1351639503&sr;=1-3&keywords;=red+sox It's nice that they have all of the World Series games, but they only have the last three ALCS games? And no ALDS games? I'd pay more if they just included all of the games. Even key regular season games I would buy. I know with the NFL you can subscribe to stream all of the current season's games, and you get to watch it with the nifty all-22 camera views. I think MLB.TV lets you do something similar, as does NBA League Pass. But for games from past seasons it's much more choppy. You can find some stuff on iTunes, but not much. But yeah. If you offered me rounds 1-4 coverage of Tiger's 14 majors I'd put down a chunk of cash for them. I'd prefer they not be DRM-crippled, but baby steps.

Football? I watch. Yeah, I'd buy the PL finals, some World Cup and MLS playoffs.

They're on iTunes now, $3 per game, HD. I think only the last one or two games are missing. I'd post a link, but I'm on Windows w/no iTunes.

    • Day 27 (7 Dec 25) - Got in a few swings with 9i and hard foam balls in backyard.  Setup weight fwd (rebuilt left foot really lets me feel the weight in a slightly painful way) - kept the backswing to around 9 o’clock focusing on contact and resulting divot pattern.  Like how the hard foam balls come off the face (almost like real balls in sound).  A good abbreviated session as I only able to hit about a dozen balls in the fading light.
    • Day 117 12-7 A bit of chipping practice today. Full swing- hit some real balls to see where Im at.
    • Not the part I was replying to: Handicaps did not go down much (like 0.14 on average IIRC?) when we went from 10/20*0.96 to 8/20. And a good chunk of that was from the +s.
    • I think he meant in the UK. The old system was completely different from the new one. 10/20 x 0.96 vs 8/20 would really only impact very low handicaps I think. The 0.96 serves to increase differentials for plus differentials, where 8/20 vs 10/20 works to lower differentials for all. I don't know many plus golfers who would be upset that their index got lower. A lot of really good players don't even really keep their handicaps up-to-date. They're much more interested in their WAGR rankings which get them entries to certain events.
    • Day 433 - 2025-12-07 Got some work in after Junior Elite before a night of sports (and the return of my wife!). Backswing work. Similar to what a lot of my juniors are doing.
