thank you.

one thing i just realized is on my approach shots i tend to speed up everything to get it there and thats when i get into trouble. anyone have advice on slowing your tempo?

Just try to make a well paced practice swing and repeat the feeling over the ball.  Also when you practice, mentally put yourself in a back nine situation and imagine playing a hole or hitting a shot.

Ok so i didn't have the best round 47-46 for a 93. the greens were sanded so my  chipping and putting were off, but what i did was just write the score and not see how I'm doing at all. the round went by so fast. i had some miss hits, but i only missed 3 fairways today. I only hit 2 greens though. haha

Sounds like you have solved some of your problems.  Well done.

Can't offer much help beyond what's already been offered, particularly if you're already scoring in the mid-90s. In fact, I would like to be as consistent as you. It has not been uncommon for me to par the first hole or two, play the next twelve without a par, and maybe even birdie # 17 or 18, en route to a 101 or 104 for the day.

I rarely keep score, any more, just play for the shot, and if I can put three or four together, note pars or the rare birdie. I do occasionally impress my partners with my repertoire of shots for going over, under, around, and through trees.
