Fitting session saved me some $$$

I just had a fitting with the local head pro. Turns out that a standard length shaft and no adjustments are necessary since I'm hitting the ball squarely. I tried the Callaway X-20, Mizuno MX-25, and TaylorMade R7 irons. All had the same distance and ball flight as my current Wilson Fat Shafts. I tried the Callaway X-20 Forged irons, and I see how much feedback you get from a blade. I don't think I'm ready for a blade, but it was interesting to try.

I guess I'll take that money and use it on some lessons to improve my very inconsistent driving.

That's pretty cool. Now you know when you hit a bad shot it's you and not your gear. ;^)

As they usually are. I've never hit a bad shot that was my equipments fault, despite what I may have said at the time
