I had some requests to do a video on getting out of greenside bunkers. I hope this helps a lot of you understand what you're trying to do to get the ball out.

Equipment, Setup, Finish, Balance, and Relax. All equal in importance and all dependent on each other. They are the cornerstones of a good golf swing.

Great Instruction Ringer!

I especially like the ball position tip - focus on the spot and bottom out where you normally would play a wedge from. I think I am always looking at the ball, wondering how I am going to get to it when it lies in such a forward position!

Now I'll make my normal wedge swing with consideration given to all your advice!

By the way, thats why my 60* is 7* bounce and my 56* is 12*, have to be ready for however the maint crew preps the bunkers! See both fluff and hard pan bunkers out here!

Thanks again!

The bounce itself has nothing to do with the width of the sole of the club.

True.. I wasn't precisely accurate in the description.

Definition: Measurement in degrees of the angle from the front edge of a club's sole to the point that actually rests on the ground at address. The middle or rear of many soles is lower than the front edge. Bounce is most commonly applied to wedges. More bounce will keep the club from digging too deeply into turf or sand. But that's a lot more complicated to explain.

You weren't anywhere near accurate, let alone "precisely." In a 9:30+ video I think you had time to properly explain bounce.

If you can't get something basic correct, good luck holding onto a viewer who realizes your mistake and is quick to classify you and your tips.
