Any South Bay or S.F. Peninsula, CA golfers

Anyone here from the San Francisco, South Bay or Peninsula in California? I'm curious which local courses are the favorites - especially when playing on a budget. Also, does anyone have a favorite instructor they are willing to share?

I practice mostly at Pin High Golf Center and San Jose Muni. Thoughts?

Hey, I dont know how far away you are, but it sounds like you are closer to san jose. my home course is crystal springs. i also like to go to santa clara muni, shoreline golf links, and a good practice center is mariner's point in foster city

mariner's point in foster city is a gem just off hwy 92 and it has a huge
practice area and 2 teer driving range and grass area to for a couple bucks more.. the the pro shop is huge and has 4 instructors out there and one should suit your style. it night time 9 hole is open till 9:30pm and is a great place to play and beat the heat of the day or winter golf when the sun sets early... it is deffinently worth the drive to check it out.... did I mention the bar has great food too...
