Do you find Rory incredibly inconsistent...or consistent? *Vote*

My first thought on Rory's play the last few weekends...man, he must be one of the most inconsistent golfers out there. One round in the mid 70's and the next in the mid 60's.

but then if you were just to look at his final score in the last 8 tournaments.

6 Top 10's in the last 8 tourney's.

That's pretty amazing!

So what is it? Is he inconsistent? Consistent? Consistent at being inconsistent? A little bit of both?

Depends on where you put the goalposts. For someone like Kuchar or Zach Johnson, that's really excellent, consistent work. But Rory's held to a different standard. He's expected to win nearly every time. So in that sense, with that many near misses, the thinkin goes that he should've won once or twice by now. Personally, I'm somewhere in the middle. I think he's doing well, but could be doing better.

He's been getting more consistent lately.  He had a rough patch last year.

What if I think he has been consistently inconsistent.....how am I supposed to vote?

He has played very well, excluding what seem to be regular short stretches of big numbers - kinda like Phil (look at Phils 2 days at the Masters, -3 for 33 holes and +8 on 3 holes)
