Had a range session last night. Still focusing on the same things: trail should and hip “up” on the backswing, trail shoulder rotating toward the ball on the downswing, opening the shoulders more at impact. My teacher said this was going to be a long, tough road, and I believe it.

This poorly shot drill swing is about the best looking thing I captured.

Played 18 Monday, shot 84 (+14) at a new course, so that felt pretty good. Misses were mostly straight, really played well around the greens trying out some different clubs/shots for chips.

I had a range session today, really focused on shoulder turn on the downswing (trying to focus on pulling the left shoulder up and back, it’s not easy given my current move). I feel like I am making small progress. I’m setting up open intentionally to encourage the shoulders to open up more through impact, and we discovered at my last lesson that I tend to set up quite closed.
