South Raleigh Golf Courses

Hey guys, just moved down to the Fuquay-Varina area south of Raleigh. I'm looking for a course to join in the area for a decent price (none of this 20,000$ initiation fee stuff). Id like to stay within a 20 min drive because of my work schedule. If anybody has suggestions that would be great, thanks for the help

I've been in the area only a little over a year and usually stick with the publics so I don't have any 1st hand info on the private courses. But, I've heard that both 12 Oaks and Devils Ridge in Holly Springs are both really nice courses.

Check out Keith Hills Golf Club...little south of you in the town of Buies Creek.  Not sure what it's like now but I hear good things, actually used to host the ACC tournament up until maybe a decade or so ago.  Looks like very reasonable prices and definitely will be better traffic for you getting to and from the course than some of the tracks in Raleigh/Cary area.
