New driver or reshaft

So i have a Nickent 4dx driver i like but i'm at the point now my drives are just TOWERING balloons and are probably 99% carry.

Should i just try to find a used shaft of something that fits me or just buy a new setup completely.

Has driver head technology changed at all or are we pretty much maxed out on that aspect still?

Reason i ask is i  really like how my driver looks at address and haven't seen anything that resembles it lately.

Wait a bit and get a G25 when the G30 hits  they will probably be 199.

If yours is the Evo 4DX, that driver is made to swap out shafts easily - requires a tool & you can just swap shafts in & out.   Check eBay and you may find some Evo shafts you can try ...

It's not the evo :-( I wish it was and i'd have my answer already.

Ahhh not really interested in a G series ping to be honest. Don't like the way they look at address.

I was thinking a ping i20 but if I can get away with just reshafting I will.

Has driver head tech improved anything in the last 8 years?

      Day 141 12-31 Reconnecting arm and club face work. Making sure left wrist is arched only on the downswing. Not doing full swings, im pausing at the top and will do a few rehearsals.  Hit a few real balls  after, and had some curve way left.

      That was a good watch. When I started working on pelvis in the backswing. I thought, this sounds contradictory to those leg straightening threads on the site. Erik has already done a correction. Then the last lesson we went more down the route of feeling the right knee gains flex. It doesn’t, but the feeling keeps my knee position in a good range. Also, I just realized how much extra work my right hip needed to do to stabilize the body with the proper weight shift. Those glute and hip stabilizers got worked. 🤣 I wish this evolution in the golf instruction happened 20 years ago! 😭

      I've been Playing Golf for: 40 yrs My current handicap index or average score is: 4.0 factor My typical ball flight is: Straight however sometimes slight draw. The shot I hate or the "miss" I'm trying to reduce/eliminate is: squirt to the right due to to much arm not enough turn.
