So I just wanted some positive reenforcement to stave off the inevitable buyer's remorse.

Today I traded a Srixon W-506 driver, 403 3 wood, and 403 3i-SW for Ben Hogan Edge CFT hybrid/iron set and a used cleveland CG10 gunmetal sand wedge.

My old irons were regular flex, and I really needed a stiff flex. The Hogans were only $150 new and included 3 and 4 hybrids and 5-pw. Hopefully the stiff shafts will help me out, and the wedge is definately a big step up from what I was playing. I also got a Mizuno MP-T 53* for under $60, so all in all it was a pretty good day.

I just ordered a Callway FT-3 draw driver off ebay for under $130, so the only club I lack for my near complete overhaul is a 3 or 4 wood. Any suggestions? I need to fill the gap between a 9.5* driver and a 18* hybrid.

Give the new 2007 Bertha 3W a try. Its easily the best performing, easiest to hit 3W I've ever tried (which is why I bought one!).

Sonartec GS Tour IMHO is one of the best fairway woods.
