Day 10 (30 Jan 25) - Played 18 at a new course (to me) today along with 3 others. Usually I do not fare well when on new courses - not sure of how it plays, thankfully one of my partners had a wonderful local knowledge of how it plays. His advice really helped my course management - which boded well as the course was still semi-soggy from the recent snow melt. It was a solid day across the bag with a solid 82 (42 front w/a dbl bogie & 40 back w/no dbl bogies). -

Day 13: 1/30/25 Weight shift drills and putting along a 3’ inch wide ruler. -

Day 29 - good 45 minute session at range, 20 minutes putting with compass drill from 3', 4', 5'. 20 minutes of chipping work, focused on working different ball flights. -

Something just popped into my head, based on your mention of the folks who "know the rules" but are generally wrong. Another comment I read was "the Rules ALWAYS said.....". When I come across those I often go to www.ruleshistory.com to see if the rules ever said that. You can find every (almost?) version of the rules since the first set in 1744. Its fun to return to the conversation and say "You're a little bit right, the rules said that at one time, but that changed in 1984. You've been playing under the wrong rule for 40 years!"
