I've been in the market for a neutral shoe. Not white or with any colors. Something grey and subtle. I've looked over all brands and can't find anything that catches my eye. That was until Tigers return at the Phoenix Open. I like the shoes he had, I looked them up and they are the new TW 15s. Of course at a $200 price point. Has anyone purchased them? Any where cheaper to get them? How about Nike Outlet store? Or is the only thing to do wait until price drop? I want them, but I've never spent $200 on shoes and don't plan on starting any time in the near future!

In my experience, the Nike Outlet store doesn't have any golf gear, save maybe a hanger of Golf shirts and an odd glove or box of crappy Crush balls. The big Niketown flagship in NYC had to my surprise nothing golf related and they sent me down the block to Golfsmith. My brother got Lunar Control cleats from a friend who works at Nike in Oregon, but if you're looking to actually buy them, Amazon has good deals on cleats. I bought my Adidas ATV 360s for 80ish there a year after they were the flagship model for $150+. I think I saw some TW spikes on sale through Divot Daily but I'm not 100% sure on that. It may be that Nike doesn't slash prices on TW stuff as much as their normal range because it markets it as a high end line.

    • It’s possible the graphite shaft has a small internal crack or a delamination. Tapping it and hearing a vibrating sound is usually a sign the shaft isn’t behaving as it should. Since the store wasn’t helpful, consider taking it to a club fitter or a pro shop that can check the shaft flex and integrity. If it’s defective, you might be able to get a replacement from the manufacturer.
    • It’s interesting how much a 3D system changes your understanding. Observing top players in full detail and realizing the trail knee shouldn’t fully extend is a great example of why being open to new info is so important. I like your approach: not trying to be “right,” but trying to teach correctly based on actual evidence. Makes sense why golfers would benefit from this perspective.
    • I would say both are equally not the best for golf. Is it better than nothing, sure.  Golf is an athletic motion. Professional golfers are doing a comprehensive workout routine focusing on strength, power, flexibility, stability. They might include some yoga into the routine. I would put both of them in the recovery bin, not golf enhancement bin.  If you want to increase swing speed, core strength, longevity in golf and life, then lift heavy weights.
