Every couple of months I go with my wife to see her parents outside of Boston, where I've taken great and inexpensive lessons with a PGA apprentice. Got there this past weekend to find out that between Wednesday (when I booked a lesson) and Saturday he got fired. I really enjoyed working with this guy, but it seems like a good sign to try and find an instructor in the NYC area. Does anyone have any recommendations? I had a lesson at CP that I didn't love- anyone have experience at Randall's Island or somewhere else?

Many thanks.

Andy,

I have taken lessons from two instructors in the NYC area.

1. Andrew Lim - Future Golf - (718)591-7701 - Located on Union Tpke in Flushing. Car or bus.
- He teaches in his store in a indoor stall.
- You can not get a visual of your ball flight.
- He teaches the best technique
- Very hands on. He will grab your arm to put it in the right slot.

2. Dan Orlik- Spring Rock Driving Range (516)330-5207 - Located in New Hyde Park on Long Island
- Hitting off driving range mat
- Adjusts his training to your level of comfort
