Impact of Equipment (Driver and Ball Choice) on Desired Ball Flight - Input Requested

Am a 12 handicap, short game is more the problem.  Natural ball flight with my driver up to some equipment changes a year of so ago was a high draw, assuming I hit it well.  I'm playing better, but finding it harder to get that ball flight.  Using a G30 driver with a regular flex, and usually either a Srixon Q Star or Callaway SuperSoft, occasionally one of the older NXTs, NXT Tour, or Bridgestone E6.

So what degree is my current equipment limiting my ability to move the ball with the driver?  As I understand it, the G30 is built for a straight flight, which it usually provides.  Just feel like I can't "turn it over."  The Q Star and the SuperSoft, again as I understand it, are balls designed for less spin and to go straight.  I want to stay in the "game improvement" category with my driver, but are there drivers in that group that would make it easier to achieve a draw?  Similarly, is my choice of balls having a negative impact on getting a slight draw?  Friend suggested trying the R15 as the multiple placement options might make getting a draw but yet being able to control it easier than is possible with the build of the G30.

And to answer the question you might be thinking, course I typically play has a pretty strong requirement for right to left ball flight off a number of the tees.  Secondly, chose the balls I'm currently playing with because I like a soft feel on contact.  The Titlest NXTs seem to be easier to work, but on the downside a little harder to control.

The equipment isn't going to hold you back from being able to hit a draw, it's more of your technique. Check this out.

'Your current equipment'?  Does that include your body?

Only a small joke, but at your HC of 20, IMO, the technique employed and skill possessed by user will determine about 90% of ball flight. A bent shaft or big cut on ball may account for balance.
