I played well today. I read something somewhere on the net that talked about a common cause of shanking the ball is a majority of body weight on your toes. Today I slowed everything down and tried to be a little more solid and square on my feet. At first I felt as if I might fall back but my miss today was a pull. I can take that after shanking shot after shot a few rounds ago. Confidence is slowly coming back. I'll get some of those vids up.

I know exactly how you feel! It has happens to everyone at some time. I am a 12 hcp and have played for 25years on and off. For the past three months I've had the shanks with my wedges and the stress is unbearable. For example i shot an 80 on Friday...95 on Saturday...97 on Sunday. The difference was shanking my lower irons. I am considering another lesson with a pro to figure out why now after years of playing golf?
