Hi everyone,

I'm currently playing some Ben Hogan Colonial irons that I bought for a couple hundred bucks, on sale about 5 years ago. I think they're pretty solid clubs for the scores I shoot (low 90s) and I want to start hitting them very consistent before i contemplate purchasing a new set.

I know there are a few types of irons out there (players' irons/muscle back/cavity back/blades/game improvement/etc.), but can anyone give me a bit of a background and maybe a "club profile" for these? Since most clubs have their pros and cons, anyone have any experience with these irons? I've included a picture below:

Thanks for your help!

They're just your typical cavity back iron. Could be used by any type of player/ skill level out there. The only thing that stands out with these irons is that they have a great aesthetic. Would not part with those beauties if I were you.

Yah I've always thought they looked rather nice for the couple hundred dollar brand new price tag I paid a few years back. I've been looking for some new midsized grips since I think they will suit my larger hands better (will make sure at a golf store before I buy), any suggestions? I've heard great things about the usual suspects such as Lamkins (i-Line) and Golf Pride, any others?
