Weekend Rounds are Slow?!

I play golf during the week and recent rounds have taken naerly five hours. If its taking me five hours during the week, it must take six or more to play 18 on the weekend. How do yall manage and how long does a weekend round take for u?

Typically four hours or less.

The problem might be you live in a highly populated area. I heard a lot of issues from people who live in densely populated areas. Especially golf courses that like to pack the course up.

Hmm. Ill try another search, must have goofed somewhere. And, yes indeed. I live in the dfw area and with the droves of people who continue to move here pace of play will likely just keep getting worse. Apparently, there is no other place to live in texas besides the dfw area.

How many minutes between tee times? If I play a course that has 2 tee times for every 15 minutes or 8 minutes between tee times then I expect a long round (4.5hours plus) on the weekend. If they use 9 or 10 minutes between tee times it generally seems a bit faster.

If I had multiple 5 plus hour rounds during the week then I would find a different course.
