Depends on the budget...

You never can go wrong with last year's or the year before's model if you are tight on cash... I, this past year, started with irons and wedges and then putter, Driver and finally FW and Hybrids... Now I have 3 sets of irons, an extra FW a hybrid I don't use an extra wedge... I think I'm addicted to this game to damn much.

Believe it or not I haven't had any formal lessons just tips from more experienced golfing friends.  I started shooting about 150 or so and the latest 18 I have played I shot a 110 so 40 strokes this year alone.  I just feel like I am being limited by a few of my clubs.  I would get some lessons but the nearest PGA Teachers are an hour drive away in every direction, and the highschool coach doesnt know anything.
