Yeah, Vijay is really a pretty relaxed, chill guy. He always got a bad rap.  I think the writers (who control the storyline) resented the fact that he didn't put up with their BS.  I know a couple in the business, and they can be full of it and get away w/it because, for the most part, golf is still a genteel sport.

I recall one time at the Disney tournament (whatever it was called that year), Scott McCarron hit a wayward drive that finished up underneath one of those carboard temporary trash receptacles. The marshal pointed it out and McCarron responds "I KNOW I SEE IT!! GODD^%$###@!!'  in front of a crowd of about 60 onlookers.  He then proceeds to rip the can out of the crown and toss aside, and when he hits the ball from this ~5" rough, it catches the hosel and the ball shoots across the fairway into the trees on the left. "GODD#@#$M@#$#@F@#!R!!!" and he's off to the other side of the fairway.  This big ol boy with a cigar says loudly, "Lil feller is just about as mad as he can be, ain't he?" and everyone starts laughing, including McCarron's caddie who turns back with a big grin (that was the best part).  Not Scott, though, he was stomping off to the other side like an angry kid running upstairs and slamming the door to his room.

Now is that rude?  I dunno.  I don't hold it against anyone when this game causes them to lose their mind.  But it was memorable. IIcan say bad things for sure, but I have never yelled at anyone else for hitting a bad shot. That  part was suspect.  The rest just funny.

The OP asked specifically about pros we've met. I've only met one. Tom Watson. And he was great. In 2007 I was caddying in a local tournament sponsored by Lancaster General Health, at Lancaster Country Club, and they had arranged for 'Ole Tom to meet every foursome on the 17th tee, a relatively short par 3, and play the hole with them. Watson's tour bag was standing off to the side, along with a couple of reps. He greeted each of us as we stepped up to the tee box, including the caddies. Watson has a soft spot for caddies, as I'm sure many of you are aware, and he happily engaged us in light conversation before everybody tee'd off. When I shook his hand I got a good sense of the power of his grip. Anyways, I can't remember if he tee'd off first or last, amongst the men in the group, but I do remember he had nice easy stroke, and put it inside 10'. One of my golfers was a female, and pretty good, and she tee'd off last. I gave her her club, and she stepped up and promptly rang her tee shot off the pin. Watson was so excited he was fist pumping and high fiving everybody in sight, "man, I love a great golf shot!!". Dude didn't know this woman from a can of paint. To see a seasoned Tour pro that excited over some amateur he doesn't even know hitting a great shot. It was just so cool...
