can anyone help me with the basics of the swing i am new have trouble consistently hitting the ball

I dont know who said it but the old quote goes like this..."Even Monkeys learn by repition." GO HIT TONS OF RANGE BALLS! Also if you get the chanch go get a lesson. Explain to him that you are a new golfer and he can give you some really good advice. I am not a good golfer by any stretch but I have learned that the more range balls I hit or the more golf I play, I get better! Hope this helped!

GO FIND AN INSTRUCTOR
that's the BEST BEST BEST thing you can do
I didn't take seroius lessons until after I developed a bad swing
took me forever to fix my bad habbits
my sister only took a few months to get to where my swing is after a year and a half.... i still own her on the course though
