What do you guys wear when it's 35-45 degrees?

Last week I played in 39 degree weather in a coldgear underarmour and polo with khakis. Needless to say, I froze my butt off. I'm playing again this week, and I've just purchased footjoy winter gloves and plan on wearing a jacket and a wool hat.

Any other suggestions?

Wool hat, coldgear underarmour, mock turtleneck, light sweatshirt, coardaroy pants, and I walk. With no wind, 35* isn't bad except that the ball goes nowhere. If it's windy, there's no fun to be had. Winter golf gloves are too thick for my liking. If it's really bad, I'll wear those big furry cart mits and maybe throw in a pack of handwarmers.

I wear a fleece hat and layers... walking is a must.

It's great because you will usually have the course to yourself(or very few will be out there).

I agree the ball goes nowhere... I hit a 6 iron where I usually use a 8 iron in the summer.

Wind in cold weather is NOT good... I must agree wind = zero fun

Try the Mizuno Breath Thermo mocks, and Widlite sweater. Two of the warmest gear items I have. If its really cold, try this. Underarmour mock, breath thermo mock, or other long sleeve item, sweater. For your legs, wear rain pants over your slacks. It will cut the wind, and keep a little heat in. Fleece hat is a must. You lose tons of heat through your head, and the baseball cap just does not cut it.

It was 32 degrees when we teed off on Sunday morning. I wore a microfiber tee shirt under a quarterzip mock turtleneck sweater. The sweater was a moderate weight but it is also more of a form fitting style so it isn't real bulky. I got this at Steve and Barrys. It looks expensive but only cost $15 bucks. Over that I wore my Adidas ClimaProof quarter zip pullover. It is wind proof and moisture resistant. I had on a pair of kahkis and two pairs of socks. I also wore my FJ Winter gloves. My hat was a regular golf style but I have a Titleist fleece hat in my bag. It was not too windy and by the end of the round it was in the high 30's so I had unzipped the pullover and the sweater.

I wear Mizuno thermo mock and love them. Cashmere sweaters are nice but requires dry cleaning. I like anything zero restriction for outer wear. I wear Mizuno's performance wear outer jacket that is windproof and waterproof.

Thermo under wear and rain pants. knit cap and hand warmers and Hot Tea.
