Hopefully I will be taking a golf vacation there in late March early April. Here is the list of courses we are scheduled to play, prices in parenthesis are replay prices w/ cart:

Sunday 3/30/2008 8:30 AM Timberlake Golf Club ($20.00)
Monday 3/31/2008 8:28 AM Indian River Golf Club ($22.50)
Tuesday 4/1/2008 9:00 AM The Windermere Club ($25.00)
Wednesday 4/2/2008 8:30 AM Persimmon Hill Golf Club ($15.00)
Thursday 4/3/2008 8:30 AM Oak Hills Golf Club ($20.00)
Friday 4/4/2008 9:20 AM Woodlands Country Club ($15.00)

So, has anyone heard of and or played any of these courses. I have been told they are very well kept and very nice, but have never been to them let alone SC. The guys I'm going with have been going on this same trip to these courses for years now and cant say enough good things about them.

It looks like you have picked out the best courses in Columbia to play. If you have time check out Charwood Country Club. It's another well kept course that is fairly inexpensive to play.

Have fun. Oh, I wouldn't bother with the course in my signature. I just play there because it is really cheap for students.

timberlake- a good play, usually in nice shape, course has some hard holes and some easy so good mixture

windermere- never played but i heard it was a little tough but good condition from some pictures

oak hills- i have played maybe 4 times in the past year and everytime the greens are horrible, other than the greens i would play more

woodlands- havent played in a couple years but i do remember i liked the course usually in good shape
