Grade Point Average. Most schools in the U.S. use a system to give a numerical average of your grade. A typical scale is the "4-point" scale: For each grade, you get so many points: A=4, B=3, C=2, D=1. + = +.3, - = -.3; A+ is still 4.0 though, but A- is 3.7. Multiply each grade by the credits for the course, and total them, divide by # credits for your grade point average.

I am still looking at schools right now. The colleges I am looking at:

Division I: Oregon Oklahoma State Nevada- Las Vegas Florida Stanford Arizona State Division II: Hawaii- Hilo Hawaii Pacific California- San Diego I am probably going to start contacting them this weekend, I will let you know what they say.

To go to Ohio State I believe with Tuition, Room and board and shit like that its like 50k a year, and that is just a big 10 school...not sure about ivy leagues

I sent an email to the Oklahoma State golf coach last night, and I am still awaiting an answer. Some of the schools are hard to find the coach's emails but a lot of them have phone numbers.

Here's what I play:

I can't believe I'm saying this, but: have you considered USC? The sheer volume of alumni would help, regardless of where your career goes after school. If you go to a non-golf job, the alumni network is (supposed to be) excellent. If you go on tour, that network can help you find a sponsor.

I have considered USC, but a friend of mine's older sister went there for a semester and left because there were to many people. I have not ruled it out, but those are the ones I have decided that I would like to go and am still looking at other schools. Gotta have a lot of options considering rosters are pretty small.

uni fees in melb can b expensive depending on the cousre and u can get it hexed which means if u arnt earing over 45k u dont hav to pay n e thing until u start making a better income so really u can earn 45k ur hole life and not hav to pay uni fees lol

Yes, I don't think I could make it in college golf with my handicap, but I made it clear in my emails that all summer I will work hard to drop that at least 10 strokes. Also I have been talking to my mom and if I can get A's and B's next semester I might go to a golf school next school year in South Carolina. You might want to think about going there, because you go to school in the morning and in the afternoon you golf with a coach. The school is also partnered with a local junior tour and you, your coach and a few other people help you plan how many tournaments and such that you go to. The tournaments are at all different places including, TPC Sawgrass, Torrey Pines, and other premier courses. The school's website is

Yeah, if a school with a ton of people bugs you, USC and UCLA aren't the way to go.
