Several years ago, my company was involved in a couple of golf course clean up jobs. During the clean up we collected a few thousand range, and regular balls. I have several hundreds left over. They have been in storage for the past 9+ years. The storage room was subjected to winter, and summer temps, as it was not climate controlled. I am thinking of donating all of them to a local course for use on their driving range.

Here's my question. Is there a shelf/storage life for these balls? I hit some of them earlier this year, and they seemed ok, but I am not a long ball hitter either.

I don't know that the course would look a gift horse in the mouth. Range balls aren't exactly super expensive materials prone to lots of damage for moderate temperature changes.

    • Latest lesson, game is a struggle at times 🤣 early extension troubles, flat shoulders on backswing. It's not going great with the big stick.   Any attempt at maintaining spine angle on downswing causes the club to crash into the ground. Hate this game 🤣 I won't disagree with you as your knowledge far exceeds mine, but I literally can't get the grip more fingers without it resulting in a strong left hand. Any advice/tips I'll happily try them 🙂
    • First day back lifting weights.  Working sets Kneeling Deficit Pushup Squats + 1 set of walking lunges Leg Curls Assisted Pull-up Cable Row Lateral Cable Raise Basically, trying to get the peak load to be when the target muscles is most stretched. With athletic concentric, and slow and controlled eccentric. Working on very good technique.  The walking lunges were a mistake, lol. Lets just say, legs were a bit cooked.

    • Day 12 (12 May 25) - A day of light drizzle, able to get outside and continue the work with the trail palm drill.  All wedges again today - rehearsing the swing with the open palm on the back of the grip and then making smooth swings through with the wedge of the moment.  Looking to see this work translate into better iron play.
