Does anyone have an indoor setup option I could possible do in my basement when I'll be unable to golf outside. My basement has more than enough room I just don't know what type of materials to use to make an awesome setup.

Thanks,

Robert

I've bought practice nets before and they work fine. The only problem I had with them was eventually wearing a hole in the net. Not a big deal to cinch up.....

This winter I'm going to make my own out of PVC and buy my own net online somewhere.

I just hit off of an old piece of carpet.

Just clip a $.050 dish towel over the netting where the ball hits most of the time. Saves wear and tear on the netting. Towel will last quite a while, is easily replaced, plus it doubles as a target for stance alignment.

Netting can be purchased for less money at any war surplus store, and last longer than the commercial stuff sold as golf netting.

    • Day 1: 2026.01.03 Played 18 at Cape Kidnappers. Getting back into it after a few days off. Mixed results.
    • Day 40: short range session. Worked on my drill mostly. Finished with some full swings and driver swings. Range was packed because it was so nice out. Solid session though.
    • Day 5, 1/3/26.  Today was a weird day schedule-wise, but I did find 15 minutes to hit 6-iron shots (indoors, off a mat, into a net).  I also got to thinking about yesterday's round and, other than a few thin shots (that I think were weather/grip related), I didn't have any wild non-driver shots, which was weird for me.  I need to get back to video, which is tough in my setup. Also, this wouldn't count on its own, but anyone reading this and thinking about doing their own 5 minutes daily, check out Fit for Golf's latest podcast episode.  It's only a few minutes and Mike does a great job talking about the importance of doing a bit each day.  That also reminded me, I let my FFG subscription lapse, I'm going to renew it.
    • Day 32 (3 Jan 26) - Misty, rainy day - opted to rehearse swing in the mirror - focused on face position at P6 thru P9.
    • Day 460 - 2026-01-03 Set up GEARS Hybrid for a lesson, so used it in the morning for checking a few things from yesterday.
