I'd like to learn to do some work on my clubs. Mainly, replacing my own grips, lengthening club shafts (1/2" - 1"), maybe eventually pulling and replacing shafts, etc. Anyone know of a good book/video to learn how to do this?

thanks,

Golfworks.com has some good stuff on learning club repair on the right hand side of the page. There are some good books that golf works puts out.

melraid,

Start with regripping. I've written a tutorial here about it: http://thesandtrap.com/forum/showthr...7425#post37425 Other than that it's learn as you go for the most part. Head down to a pawn shop buy some semi-old clubs (avoid really old ones which might have shaft pins) and go to town.
