Hi guys,

I've got Ping i3 irons (3-PW) and an old Ping Anser driver.

I'm thinking about getting a Ping hybrid to help me out out the rough after what's typically a poor tee shot with the Anser.

I've managed to find a Ping G20 and G30 for sale in as new condition - the G30 costs $100 more.

I've heard the G20 is great but how does it compare to the G30?

I would suggest you do a side-by-side test and see which one feels best. Try to get some launch monitor data on each. Make sure you use your game-day balls for the test, not some $1 hitting-bay distance ball that others have battered for a month.

Also, what shaft does each have in it? What flex are you looking for?

For reference, check out this YouTube comparison of G20, G25 and G30 irons.

Hint: You may want to try the G25 after seeing the video.

Focus, connect and follow through!
