Can I bend this putter?

Hey guys,

 

I just downloaded the iPing app and tried it out and realized my lie angle is completely off. I never thought about lie angle before or what type of arc I had. To get to the point, I've been to Golf Galaxy and a local fitter and they both said they wouldn't want to touch the putter because it will probably snap if they tried to adjust the lie. Any thoughts pr suggestions? I was just doing some googling and some people have clamped, heated up the hosel and did some light tapping to get it where it needed to be.  

 

By the way, the putter is a STX profit 5.

A good fitter may be able to do it. I had a few putters that I got the lie adjusted down to 68 from 71. One was a Ping Redwood. The other a Scotty Cameron Select Newport.

Also, as a follow up to this. I was using the ping app for the second time last night and the app is showing that I'm at a a 70* lie angle. Based on my picture here that doesn't seem right. The stock in the putter is 71*.
