I could list a ton of songs like many of you have but that would take too long. One song that popped into my head that I never get sick of hearing is
Rolling Stones - "Can't you hear me knocking"

I was beside myself when they put that song on Guitar Hero II

It also sets the mood as the opening song on one of my favorite movies - BLOW
"When I play with him, he talks to me on every green. He turns to me and says, 'You're away.' "
-Jimmy Demaret referring to Ben Hogan

Driver: Cleveland HiBore XL (10.5 -conforming)3 Wood: MacGregor V-FOIL5 Wood: Mizuno MP-001Irons: Ben Hogan BH-5 (4-PW)Wedges:52 - Nike SV Tour56 - Cleve...

Traffic - Low Spark of High Heeled Boys
Chicago - 25 or 6 to 4

and a thousand others...

Clair de Lune--Debussy

I expect to hear this going to Heaven, if there is one and I make it.

(nice as closer to Ocean's 11 by Bellagio Fountains)

"Glitter and Be Gay" from Candide (Bernstein)

Yeah, yeah. But it's IN ENGLISH, funny as hell, and if you're lucky enough to catch it sung by a coloratura soprano who has the chops to handle this monster it'll blow your socks off.

At the other end of the spectrum, I'm almost embarassed to admit how much I rock out to William Shatner's cover of Pulp's "Common People". Joe Jackson KILLS with backup vocals and chainsaw guitar work. Check out the studio recording (from the LP "Has Been"), not the live YouTube stuff.

Oh - and the "Danger Mouse" cartoon theme song. 20 seconds of rodentia genius.

Bag It:

3-Wood Wishon 525 F/D, 13*, Matrix Studio 65gm, Golf Pride Dual Compound
Hybrid: Wishon "321", 24*, MSF 85 HB, Winn DSI
Irons: Wishon 770CFE, Matrix Studio 74gm, Winn DSI

Putter: Odyssey DFX 2-Ball

Bag: Some big, honkin', ridiculous overkill of an Ogio cart bag with more pockets than I have teeth.

"Glitter and Be Gay" from

OK. The above post qualifies as the most interesting ( and weird )combination of fired synapses that have been put into writing I've read on this site in some time. It certainly got my attention. I've got to admire a man who can appreciate Bernstein and Shatner, not to mention Danger Mouse, in the same post. The scope of it is curious and strange. Wow!

Thanks for that, Shortgame

I'm fortunate to have led a life unencumbered by things like dating, meaningful employment, or fastidious personal hygene practices. That's given me time to concentrate on my REAL love: meaningless drivel.

And you guys now reap the benefits!
