Switching Taylormade Heads??

Hello everyone,

I just bought a new Taylormade R15 head only, along with a UST Mamiya- Proforce V2 Wood shaft, i took it to PGA superstore and had it assembled.  I didn't realize that I had purchased a 14 degree loft driver head....  I know pay attention to what you buy..  I have read that a higher degree driver would increase backspin and possibly increase the accuracy of my drives, which I am in need of.  

That being said, does anyone know if I would be able to buy a lower lofted version of a R15 and just switch it?  Would I need to have a clubmaker tweak anything?

The heads on those clubs just switch out with the tool to unscrew the shaft at the hosel. It shouldn't be an issue at all.

Right? I don't think they make any R15 heads that are permanently glued.

No, the R15 head will bolt on/off on that shaft, so you can easily switch out to a lower lofted head from the one you currently have.
